About Society

Kamdhenu Society is a public charitable society with the primary objective of providing financial assistance to genuinely needy patients reporting to SGPGI for treatment.

The society was formed in 1999 with the generous donation from the Government of Uttar Pradesh and registered under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860. Society has also been registered under section 12-A and recognized under 80 G of the Income Tax Act 1961.The society started functioning in August 2001 and all the departments helped the society in this endeavour.

The Director of SGPGI is the ex-officio President of the society and the society is run by the elected honorable members.
